About Us
At CRS, we're not just a care provider; we are your partner in transitioning from hospital to home independence. Our custom reablement services are infused with compassion, respect, and a steadfast commitment to enhancing health and promoting independence. Born from our founder Phill Priest's personal journey and propelled by a team of dedicated recovery assistants and physiotherapists, CRS stands for hope, support, and unmatched care for every client.
CRS was born out of a personal crisis and a mission to address the gaps in the UK's health and social care system. Phill Priest's challenging experience following his father's stroke laid the foundation for CRS. Teamed up with pioneering physiotherapists from the CDDFT NHS, our roots are in direct experience, passion, and a shared vision to revolutionise care and rehabilitation. Discover our journey, our team, and our dedication to making a tangible difference.
The main goal of CRS is setting New Standards in Post-Hospital Care and redefining post-hospital care standards.
Our recovery assistants, proficient in specialised care techniques and physiotherapy support, dedicate an hour per visit to ensure comprehensive, effective care. By offering double the standard care time and consistent, tailored support, we're not just aiding recovery; we're empowering individuals toward regaining their independence. Our Story
The Journey of Phill Priest : From Personal Challenge to Professional Triumph
Phill Priest's journey with Care & Reablement Solutions (CRS) began not in boardrooms or through market analysis, but within the deeply personal corridors of his family life. After managing and growing recruitment services across the UK, Phill faced a life-altering challenge in 2022: his father, a devoted public servant as a Northumbrian Police Detective, suffered a major stroke. This devastating event left his father paralysed and unable to communicate.
Navigating through the intricacies of care and support for his father, Phill encountered the stark realities of a strained healthcare system. The gap between hospital care and home support widened, leaving his father without a care package. Driven by this personal crisis and armed with professional acumen, Phill founded CRS—an organisation that embodies not just care, but a promise to bridge these gaps and transform the care landscape.
